Connect with Kids Elementary School Resources can help get students thinking about their actions — and changes that can create a culture in each and every school that promotes acceptance, achievement and accomplishments. Select from 55 video segments focused on helping young students to develop the character traits and life skills that will help them make healthy choices and avoid high-risk behaviors.
The Character and Life Skills Programs provide a starting point. The series includes 24 videos that address individual life skills as well as specific life skills detailed in the chart below.
Each video begins as students use their own words to define the concept; a real-life video story unfolds to describe the challenge. Accompanying lesson plans and vocabulary builders align with Language Arts, Social Studies and Health education standards.
